Steve is a 30 year broadcasting / audio vet who began his radio career in June of 1978 with an FCC 3rd Class endorsed license in one hand...a suitcase ...car keys.. headphones ...and a roadmap in the other (and in dire need of a haircut..however now, that doesn't seem to be much of a problem). Steve was born in Los Angeles, California and grew up in Lake Havasu City, Arizona and the Los Angeles burbs/Hollywood Hills area. His "coming of age" years we're spent pioneering Copper Canyon, The Sandbar, Parker and basically the Colorado River...(moved to Havasu in 1963, well before the spring break crowds knew of Lake Havasu City)...as well as living in Newport Beach and Huntington Beach, California, building "Dogtown" skateboards, building boats, surfing, attempting to break into the radio industry and Hollywood. Finally in '78...he made his move in to the entertainment industry. Steve has worked in the radio industry as an on-air personality and Creative Services Director in Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, San Francisco, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. Steve is a national, regional, and local voice talent as well as a film and television actor who began his acting career in 1985. Steve can be heard across the country on national ad's, national infomercials, the voice of numerous radio stations, and on the internet as the voice on website imaging and advertising across international continents and seen on network television shows (most recently, he played Police Chief "Roger Murphy" on the WB Network show "Everwood"), feature films, feature film video releases, national commercials, infomercials, and on industrial training films and videos. He is married to his wife and business partner Wendy, and has two daughters, Tanya and Stephanie. Steve and Wendy are the proud grandparents of Tiana, Brennan, and now Serenity!
